<--Street Car Racing Recap of Hamilton Win

Lewis Hamilton battled wet tarmac during the British Grand Prix before taking first place, which boosted him to the top of the F1 standings over the weekend. For those that are not familiar with the street car racing talents of Hamilton, he is a 23 year old British driver who is only in his second season of driving F1. He almost won during his rookie season last year but a few bad moves dropped him down the ranks.

Over the weekend, Hamilton charged the pack in a McLaren before winning his first British Grand Prix according to the Seattle Times. The craziest part about the weekend race was that Hamilton had enough street car racing skills to lap all but two of the competition.

Past the fourth lap, no one could touch him. After the race, he was quoted saying, “It is, by far, the best victory I've ever had (seattletimes.com).” He took the checkered flag in front of 90,000 cheering fans who were just as amazed as he was with his performance.
