There has been talk that after this Sprint Cup series is over Kyle Busch will be solidified in Nascar racing schedule history if he can get 13 season wins. There have only been two other drivers to accomplish this and they are nothing short of house hold names in Nascar friendly families, Petty and Gordon. Busch has already won 7 of his Nascar racing schedule appearances this season and is on pace to make or break the record.

With over two hundred points above second place Dale Earnhardt Jr., Busch is competing against himself. The second half of the Nascar racing schedule began over the weekend during the Lifelock.com 400.

Busch is undoubtedly the best racer this season. Formerly a driver for Hendrick Motorsports but released at the end of 2007’s Nascar racing schedule to make room for second place Dale Earnhardt Jr. it is almost like he has something to prove to Rick Hendrick. I am sure Hendrick is kicking himself after watching Busch’s performance this Sprint Cup Nascar racing schedule season. Watch out for him this week at the Iowa Speedway.
