Street car racing is a subject that has made the news since cars were invented. I have read too many articles and reports about the increases in street car racing and the negative effects that it can have to people who make a wrong decision. My thoughts are that the only reason that people may be thinking that street car racing has increased is because they have started looking for it for whatever reason. It is the same kind of thing that happens when you think about a specific word or color and then notice it everywhere. (ridiculous video below)

Yes, young people and old people die from accidents that occur during street car racing but considering how often this kind of thing occurs it is not that bad. I have no remorse for street racers that hurt unsuspecting bystanders but if they hurt themselves who cares. We all make choices and have to live with the consequences. All I know is that as soon as man felt the exhilaration of a vehicle taking them to speeds never before felt blended with the competitiveness of an opposing vehicle there would be no stopping street car racing.
