Auto Racing the latest twist in the saga surrounding the future of race car driver Fernando Alonso linked the double Formula 1 World Champion with a move to Red Bull Racing – in tandem with former Ferrari technical director Ross Brawn.


While Renault has long been mooted as the most likely home for the 26-year-old next season, in the wake of his divorce with McLaren last Friday rumors have continued to circulate that he could end up at RBR, with the team's owner Dietrich Mateschitz doing little to quell the rising speculation.

“We'll see how things go,” the Austrian multi-millionaire commented cryptically. “(David) Coulthard and (Mark) Webber are 100 per cent our drivers for 2008, but in F1nothing is certain. Things are only ever highly probable.”
