Darren is excited about this weekends ALMS Detroit Grand Prix after a strong second place at Infineon in the Red Bull Brumos Porsche Prototype, read his quote: 

"I am heading to the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix this weekend. All of us at Flying Lizard Motorsports are looking forward to this event. It will put most everyone on an even playing field since the majority of the teams have never run here. The track has been unused for several years but has had numerous improvements recently as Penske has purchased the rights to the event and completed several upgrades. We typically run well on the street courses. I am excited to go to this event as I raced there twice in the mid 90’s in the North American Touring Car Series when Cart raced there. I had my first win in that series at the Belle Isle street course in a BMW 320 super touring car. The track is challenging and one of the better street courses that we go to this season. For this event I will be teamed with Patrick Long. He and I last drove together at the Long Beach Grand Prix earlier this season where we had our best finish with 2nd place".
